How to Feel Sexy at Home During Quarantine

Is being stuck in the house all the time causing you to feel less and less like the sexy, bad B that you are? Not gonna lie, When this pandemic first began I was excited to start spending more time at home, to me it just meant I could get more stuff done. But as time started to pass, it was true, I was getting more done with my home but something just felt different with me.

Like I wasn’t depressed or anything, but I just wasn’t feeling like ME, I stopped feeling sexy during this quarantine and I had to do something about it! If you’re feeling anything like I was then keep reading to find out how you can bring your sexy back while at home during this pandemic.

Being in the house for so long and who knows how much longer, I found that is SUPER important for us to feel just as sexy at home. I’m going to share things I’ve been doing to help me get back to feeling like myself. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are still plenty of days when my hair is up for most of the day and I’m lounging around in one of my fiancé’s old t-shirts!

You should always feel beautiful no matter what, but let’s face it, we know there’s just certain things that make us feel like a BAD B ! Period.

Let me share some things that I’ve been doing to help me feel sexy while at home during this quarantine.

  1. Spa days: Treat yourself with a DIY at home mani/pedi, a soothing bubble bath, or even a refreshing facial. Checkout my post on how to give your self a facial here!
  2. Wearing scented lotions: Apply your favorite scented lotion when you get out of the shower, especially at night, and you will feel sexy all night long! My favorite lotion to apply at night is Vince Camuto’s Amore body lotion , this scent is so sexy but also fun and slightly fruity. It comes in a set along with he perfume and you can buy it here.   3. Makeup sessions: Feel sexy at home during quarantine by trying different makeup looks, even if you’re not going anywhere. If you’re like me and not really good at doing your makeup, now is the perfect time to practice!
  4. Try different hairstyles: You know those hairstyles that you save pics of but you never try it because you’re a little nervous? Try them now! Feel sexy by switching up your look, whether it’s a new cut or a new color, go for it sis!
  5. Buy some sexy lingerie: Whether it’s for yourself or for your man, nothing makes you feel more sexy than walking around the house in some sexy lingerie. Get on FashionNova, Shein, or any other stores you like and find some affordable pieces to step your lingerie game up!
  6. Buy some comfy/sexy lounge clothes: Now, I love to lounge around the house in comfortable clothes but, I think I got a little too comfortable at the beginning of this pandemic! I’ve just been picking up cute little lounge pieces as I see them so I can have a variety.
  7. Take selfies: You know nothing makes you feel like a baddie more than a bomb selfie! I noticed that I wasn’t taking as many selfies since being in the house more, but lately I’ve been snapping way. My fiance bought me this ring light from Amazon for Christmas and I am so excited to start using it!
  8. Trying different body sprays and perfumes: Perfume is one of my favorite things ever! I plan to do a post soon about my fave perfumes so be on the lookout for that! Try taking a shower in the morning, putting on some sexy, comfy lounge clothes and spray yourself with your favorite perfume. Smelling amazing will definitely help you to feel sexy, even while you’re at home!
  9. Keep up with waxing/shaving: Now, with it being the winter time PLUS being stuck in the house, I know it could be easy to say to heck with shaving or waxing. However, I realized that when my whole body is so smooth it just helps me to feel so sexy.
  10. Exercising: Exercising really can help you to feel and look sexy and since we’re at home more than ever, now is the perfect time to get it in! .
