Don’t you just love when every room in your home just smells amazing literally 24/7?! It’s just something so refreshing about walking into every room in my home and smelling a clean, fresh scent.
If you’re anything like I was before, you would try to put plugins all around the house but then would be so bad at replacing them once they ran out. So, my house would smell good for about a month or so, and then back to smelling basic! But not anymore, honey!
I’ve come up with some ways to keep your home smelling lovely at all times. When your house is clean AND smells amazing it could put you in a better mood and also provide a sense of clarity in your mind. The great thing is that there are SO many scents to choose from so you can select scents that work for you. Whether you like soothing scents such as lavender, or scents that remind you of your favorite desserts, like warm apple pie.

Scented Sachets
OMG! So these hidden gems are an absolute must have for your home and they pack a huge punch! They are little sachets filled with different fragrances and you can place them in different areas of your home. I love placing them in my dresser drawers, linen closets, and my laundry room. I swear the scent seems like it lasts forever, I can just place it and forget it about it, at least for a couple of months. Some people make their own and eventually I’m going to try it, I think it’ll turn out amazing.

Carpet freshener powder
If your home has carpet, then I highly recommend that you use carpet freshener powder each time you vacuum. I try to vacuum my floors once a week because I love for them to be fresh all the time. Just sprinkle the powder on the floor and let it sit for about 20 minutes while you clean other things around the house, and then just vacuum it up. It leaves such a refreshing smell on your carpet, but it also fills up the room! Love it!

Ok, Ok! I know you’re probably like duh! But I really think it’s slept on. I mentioned how I used to be really bad at replacing the refills but now I make sure I stock up on them so I can replace them as soon as they run out. You can literally place these everywhere, in the bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, kitchen! Keep one plugged in near your front door, so as soon as someone walks through the door it hits them. Being consistent with the plugins will definitely help you maintain a fresh scent in your home.
Odoban
This is definitely a classic that I’m sure almost every knows about. But if you don’t, OdoBan is a household cleaner that comes in different scents that all smell amazing. I’ve seen people use it in so many different ways, but I really only use it in the mop water when mopping my kitchen and bathroom floors. Febreze
I’m sure everyone loves Febreze, but I swear by it. To keep your home smelling fresh you should use it on any fabric in your house about twice a week. I use it on my couch, curtains, clothes hanging in my closer, and much more. This requires little effort, and you can get this done so quickly. Sometimes when I’m on the phone I tend to just walk around my whole house, so I’ll just grab the bottle of Febreze and start spraying as I walk from room to room talking on the phone. So, if you’re a walking talker like me this is something that you could easily make a habit out of!
